Engineering Technician – Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Technician to support the maintenance of property vehicles and equipment at our hotel in Doha. The role involves routine inspections, preventive upkeep, and ensuring all tools and safety procedures are followed.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor routine maintenance on property vehicles such as engineering trucks, shuttle vans, and electric carts, including checking oil, fluid levels, tire pressure, charging batteries, and replacing spark plugs.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, performing cleaning, lubrication, and regular inspections.
• Maintain accurate maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed, and keep daily logs of operations, safety activities, and equipment malfunctions.
• Follow company safety and security policies, report hazards or incidents, complete required safety training, and store flammable materials properly.
• Communicate professionally with team members, prepare written documentation accurately, and answer telephone inquiries using proper etiquette.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least 2 years of related experience in vehicle or equipment maintenance.
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• No supervisory experience required and no specific license or certification needed.
