Enterprise Account Manager

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an Enterprise Account Manager. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. It covers managing one or several large accounts or acting as account lead for a major account, driving profitability and pipeline while building strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the customer's IT and business objectives, priorities and challenges, and position HPE's strategy and solutions as critical to their business
• Build and maintain a strong, rightsized pipeline and lead pipeline-building activities with the account team
• Drive deals to closure through a multi-disciplinary team, including partners, and ensure ownership across the team
• Develop relationships with customer executives and key influencers, and define an effective engagement model
• Manage the partner landscape and partner network, working with the Partner Business Manager to update the partner strategy
• Lead the extended account team, run governance, and give regular feedback to account team members
• Act as customer advocate inside HPE, coordinate with other customer-facing HPE organizations, and use HPE tools and processes to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty

Required profile

• Typically 6-10+ years of account management experience
• University or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience; engineering or technology education, advanced degree or MBA desired
• Experience in the IT industry preferred; experience working within an IT department or with customers is a plus
