About the role
IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced Events & Catering Manager to lead sales and delivery of exceptional event and catering experiences across our hotel properties. You will drive revenue, build client relationships, and ensure flawless execution of meetings, banquets, and special events.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily sales and coordination activities for events and catering operations.
- Achieve individual and team revenue targets, maximizing profitability across rooms, banquet, and food & beverage sales.
- Develop and execute strategic sales and event plans to increase occupancy, average rate, and event volume.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly performance reports to identify improvement opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate partners, and external stakeholders.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in hospitality, hotel sales, events, or catering, including managerial experience leading a team.
- Strong understanding of local market trends, business environment, and client networks.
