Executive Director (Hospitality and Entertainment)

About the role

Parsons is seeking an Executive Director to lead the Site Supervision Consultancy Services for a flagship luxury hospitality and entertainment development in Qatar. The role will act as Parsons’ senior representative to the client and key stakeholders, overseeing construction supervision from start‑up through handover and the Defects Liability Period.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and governance for the site supervision consultancy.
• Serve as the primary Parsons liaison to the client’s executive management and senior stakeholders.
• Direct the supervision team in contract administration, ensuring contractor compliance with drawings, specifications and codes.
• Oversee project performance across construction progress, quality, HSE, testing & commissioning, handover and DLP activities.
• Lead executive‑level meetings with developers, operators, contractors and government authorities.
• Review and endorse major project decisions, recovery strategies, claims, variations and commercial matters.
• Facilitate timely resolution of critical construction, technical and commercial issues.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in construction supervision or consultancy for large‑scale hospitality and entertainment projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships at executive level.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience with contract administration and claims management.
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams through construction, commissioning and handover phases.
