Facilities Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Facilities Engineer to lead the maintenance and operations of our high‑end residential properties. The successful candidate will develop comprehensive maintenance plans, oversee repairs, and ensure compliance with all regulations while delivering a safe and efficient environment for tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan for all properties.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance and repair activities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs.
• Manage relationships with third‑party contractors and service providers.
• Prepare and manage the facilities management budget, monitoring expenses and ensuring cost‑effective operations.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimize facility‑related spending.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal property regulations.
• Coordinate inspections, address compliance issues, and maintain detailed records.
• Optimize space layout and utilization to enhance functionality and tenant satisfaction.
• Plan and execute office relocations or renovations as needed.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors for janitorial, security, landscaping, and other services.
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure service quality.
• Develop and implement emergency response and disaster recovery plans, conducting regular drills.
• Identify and implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, electrical/mechanical engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in facilities management, preferably managing high‑end residential buildings.
