F&B Cost Controller – Hospitality

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented F&B Cost Controller to join Swissotel Corniche Park Towers in Doha. In this position you will oversee food and beverage cost control processes, ensuring profitability while maintaining the high quality standards expected of an Accor‑brand hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze food and beverage costs, identify improvement areas and implement cost‑saving measures.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes and minimize waste.
• Develop and maintain accurate recipe costing for all menu items.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reports on F&B operations.
• Collaborate with chefs and F&B managers to optimise menu pricing and product mix.
• Review and validate vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Implement portion‑control measures across all outlets and conduct regular audits.
• Train staff on cost‑control procedures and best practices in inventory management.
• Analyse market trends and competitor pricing to maintain a competitive advantage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in F&B cost control within hospitality or restaurant environments.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with local Qatari food and beverage regulations is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial management software such as Oracle or SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
