Field Coordinator Specialist – Rotating Machinery Maintenance

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a motivated Field Coordinator Specialist to lead curative and preventive maintenance on rotating equipment such as gas turbines and centrifugal compressors at customer sites. You will ensure safe, high‑quality execution of maintenance tasks while supporting the company’s energy‑technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform curative and preventive maintenance on gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, and related accessory machines.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble rotating machine components following technical work instructions.
• Conduct instrumentation testing, calibration, dimensional control, and non‑destructive testing (NDT).
• Execute repair activities including drilling, tapping, welding, and spare‑part replacement.
• Coordinate rigging and crane operations when required.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering, or high‑school diploma with at least 5 years of maintenance engineering experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously on‑site and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to manage tasks and customer expectations.
