About the role
The Food & Beverage Captain joins Marriott International’s Autograph Collection hotel in Doha to lead a team of Guest Service Experts. You will create memorable dining experiences by ensuring seamless service, high quality standards, and a safe, welcoming environment for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and arrange tables, ensuring proper presentation and cleanliness.
- Communicate orders and special requests accurately with the kitchen.
- Interact with guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and address any concerns promptly.
- Maintain work areas, supplies, and equipment in a tidy and organized condition.
- Verify menu information, handle transactions, and support the team in delivering a smooth service flow.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 25 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance).
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods and navigate varied surfaces safely.
