About the role
A hospital in Doha is looking for a full-time Front Desk Receptionist. The role greets patients and visitors, manages registrations and appointments, and supports administrative and billing tasks while coordinating with hospital departments.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and visitors courteously
- Manage patient registration, appointments and EMR updates
- Handle inbound and outbound calls and give accurate hospital information
- Conduct insurance eligibility checks and coordinate pre-approvals
- Manage billing, issue receipts and perform end-of-shift financial handovers
- Maintain accurate records and support other administrative duties
- Ensure smooth coordination with hospital departments
Required profile
- Diploma or certification in hospital administration or customer service
- Fluent Arabic and English, spoken and written
- Experience in hospital front-desk or medical administrative roles
- Presentable, professional and able to work under pressure
- Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as needed
Required skills
- Knowledge of EMR/HIS systems
- Insurance coordination
