About the role
The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing guest check‑ins, managing cash handling, and ensuring a high level of service at the hotel front desk. This role supports both guests and team members in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, assign rooms, issue keys, and handle payments.
- Maintain accurate guest accounts, enter loyalty program information, and ensure correct rate application.
- Compile daily reports, complete cashier and closing procedures, and secure bank deposits.
- Assist guests with requests, coordinate with other departments, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- Support management in training, evaluating, and coaching front‑office staff.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related front‑office experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 10 lb.
Required skills
- Proficiency with POS and hotel property management systems.
