Fuels Superintendent

About the role

The Fuels Superintendent leads the site’s Fuels program, ensuring compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and USAF requirements while driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Fuels Functional Manager, the role oversees all fuel assets, inspections, reconstitution, and storage activities across the installation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to all Fuels personnel, set work priorities and coordinate support with other functional areas.
• Ensure compliance with the PWS, Amentum ISO‑9001 Quality Management System and all applicable technical data.
• Oversee fuel reconstitution goals, schedule and verify inspections, and compile status, inventory and maintenance reports.
• Identify asset deficiencies, submit Product Quality Deficiency Reports and participate in corrective‑action working groups.
• Validate and approve monthly fuel receipts, track bulk fuel usage for generators and vehicles, and manage parts and material requisitions.
• Maintain accurate timesheets, approve overtime, and ensure timely employee performance evaluations and training records.
• Perform on‑site duties in office, maintenance shop or warehouse environments and may travel for TDY assignments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of supervisory experience equivalent to USAF or US Service fuel operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government clearance (US citizenship required).
• Valid home‑country driver’s license and ability to obtain a host‑nation license.
• Proficiency with personal computers, Windows OS and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Willingness to work in noisy environments and wear required personal protective equipment.
