Furniture Manufacturing Expert – Doha

About the role

London Gallery is seeking a Furniture Manufacturing Expert to lead the end‑to‑end production of high‑quality classical and modern furniture in our Doha workshop. You will translate detailed design concepts into finely crafted pieces, ensuring every item meets the brand’s heritage standards and contemporary functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and design specifications to plan production.
• Select appropriate wood species and premium materials for each project.
• Set up, operate and maintain woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Supervise cutting, shaping, joinery, assembly and finishing processes.
• Conduct quality control checks at each production stage to guarantee structural integrity and surface finish.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain an organized workshop environment.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and production managers to optimise workflows and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor material usage and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in fine woodworking, including wood selection, cutting, shaping, joinery and finishing.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings with high dimensional accuracy.
• Hands‑on experience operating and maintaining woodworking machinery in a production setting.
• Track record of delivering high‑end, custom furniture with consistent quality.
• Experience supervising workshop teams and coordinating production tasks.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in furniture manufacturing.
