General Manager – Real Estate Development

About the role

The client is a leading real‑estate development company in Doha, Qatar. The General Manager will drive the corporate strategy, own the P&L and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑value projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement board‑approved corporate strategy with full P&L accountability.
• Oversee end‑to‑end development lifecycles from land acquisition to construction and delivery.
• Act as primary liaison to the Board, providing financial updates, performance reports and investment proposals.
• Guide marketing, leasing and sales strategies to maximise asset valuation and occupancy.
• Maintain high‑level relationships with Qatari government bodies, municipalities, master developers, financial institutions and joint‑venture partners.
• Monitor cash flow, development financing, capital allocation and procurement risks.
• Lead, mentor and build multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial, finance, and legal functions.

Required profile

• MBA required; bachelor’s in civil engineering, architecture or business preferred.
• Minimum 20 + years of progressive executive management experience in real‑estate development.
• Proven executive track record in the Qatar real‑estate market.
• Full professional bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
