Head of BUL Hanine Field Project (Topside & Jackets)

About the role

The Head of the BUL Hanine Field Project will lead the EPIC Execution Phase for the PS3 BH Field Redevelopment, covering both greenfield and brownfield scopes. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role ensures delivery within cost, schedule, quality and HSE requirements in line with QatarEnergy's Project Management Framework.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Project Manager’s primary deputy, overseeing day‑to‑day coordination and decision‑making for all EPIC activities.
• Lead engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and hand‑over of the new production station and associated structures.
• Manage risk, schedule, earned‑value, interface and change management across a multi‑disciplinary team of >150 personnel.
• Ensure compliance with offshore codes and standards (API, DNV, ISO) and Shell DEPs.
• Coordinate brownfield modifications, HV electrical works, civil works at Halul Island and structural prop installations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years senior project management experience delivering large offshore EPIC contracts.
• Proven leadership on multi‑billion‑USD projects involving topsides, jackets, brownfield modifications, offshore construction, installation and commissioning.
• B.Sc. in an engineering discipline (or equivalent) with at least 18 years relevant project experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills in multicultural environments.
• Ability to lead large, geographically dispersed teams and make decisions under pressure.
