Head Waiter

About the role

The Head Waiter will oversee daily restaurant operations at Mondrian Doha, ensuring a seamless, high‑quality service experience for guests. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will lead the front‑of‑house team, drive guest satisfaction, and support revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain smooth day‑to‑day restaurant operations and achieve high guest satisfaction.
• Guide, train, and supervise servers, performing regular supervisory duties.
• Maximise sales through up‑selling and monitor cash floats, voids, and payment discrepancies.
• Control operating costs, minimize overtime, and ensure equipment availability.
• Handle guest complaints, gather feedback, and maintain a respectful rapport with regular guests.
• Liaise with the Head Chef, Reception, and other hotel departments to coordinate service.
• Prepare daily management reports and attend business review meetings.
• Conduct inspections to protect company assets and represent the hotel positively in the community.
