About the role
The Heart of House Steward supports essential hotel operations by maintaining clean linen, spotless dishware, and functional cleaning equipment. This onsite role ensures a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and manage fresh linen and dining ware for guest use.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
- Transport dishware and linens across hotel departments efficiently.
- Follow safety procedures, report accidents, and uphold quality standards.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods.
Required profile
- No high school diploma or GED required.
- No prior related work experience necessary.
- No supervisory experience or licensing required.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
Required skills
- Experience with linen washers.
- Proficiency in operating cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of hand wash stations.
- Ability to use dish washing machines.
- Familiarity with dryers for linen and dishware.
