Installation Analysis Engineer

About the role

The Installation Analysis Engineer supports the engineering team by applying installation analysis knowledge to solve straightforward technical problems. Working under moderate guidance, the role focuses on delivering accurate design calculations, analyses, and supporting procurement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform FEED studies, detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations for installation projects.
• Prepare clear design reports, procedures, and sketches to guide designers.
• Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage work within budget constraints.
• Interface with all disciplines to develop clash‑free designs and gather input for drawings.
• Document significant communications and forward them to the Discipline Lead Engineer.
• Provide bid inputs, assist procurement with requisitions, technical quotations, and vendor evaluations.
• Review material take‑offs (MTOs), vendor submittals, and engineering drawings for compliance.
• Perform design verification, single‑discipline checks, and support inter‑discipline checks.
• Keep the Lead Engineer informed of progress, issues, and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Engineering background with ability to work under moderate supervision.
• Understanding of critical business drivers and straightforward problem‑solving.
• Strong judgment and ability to apply technical precedents.
