IT Academic Support Coordinator

About the role

The IT Academic Support Coordinator ensures that all academic systems run smoothly, providing technical assistance to teachers, students, parents and administrative staff. This role combines hardware/software troubleshooting with the configuration and maintenance of school‑wide applications.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teaching and learning processes with appropriate IT solutions.
• Support admissions, records and registration procedures.
• Monitor and maintain the school email system (Microsoft Office 365).
• Provide RenWeb support, including user creation, password resets and report generation.
• Update the school SMS system and send announcements to parents.
• Configure and support MAP and Stanford testing platforms.
• Maintain the school website and manage scheduling/course request entries.
• Support the health‑science simulation lab and create customized reports for curriculum staff.
• Prioritize and manage open support cases, test new technologies and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of IT service experience.
• At least 3 years of K‑12 IT support experience (preferred).
