IT Systems & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The IT Systems & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design, deploy, administer and maintain the organization’s hybrid IT environment spanning Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and on‑premises systems. The role ensures high availability, security, scalability and performance of enterprise services while supporting 24/7 operations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Azure and GCP resources including VMs, managed databases, storage, networking and PaaS services.
• Deploy, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure following standards and optimise cost and performance.
• Install, configure and manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and Microsoft 365/Exchange Online services.
• Maintain virtualization platforms, perform OS upgrades, patch management and server health monitoring.
• Administer on‑premises and cloud storage, backup solutions and disaster‑recovery procedures, including capacity planning.
• Monitor infrastructure availability and performance, identify bottlenecks and generate operational reports.
• Respond to production incidents, troubleshoot issues and provide on‑call support in rotational shifts.
• Implement security and compliance controls and participate in change‑management processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and operating hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong background in Windows Server administration and Microsoft 365 services.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operational setting and handle on‑call responsibilities.
