ITS Asset Manager – Roads Operations & Maintenance

About the role

Egis is seeking a detail‑oriented ITS Asset Manager to join its Doha team. You will act as the coordination interface between ITS Operations/Technical Teams and the Asset Management function, ensuring that data from road and tunnel control centres, communications networks and related systems is captured, structured and turned into actionable asset insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ITS infrastructure assets, including Road Control Centres (RCC), Tunnel Control Centres (TCC), fiber backbone, switches, transmission systems, SCADA/ATMS platforms, server rooms, power and UPS systems.
• Coordinate with core technical experts to collect, validate and structure asset and maintenance data.
• Develop and maintain the asset register, hierarchy and classification in line with contract requirements and best practices.
• Analyse maintenance data (MTBF, MTTR, availability, failure trends) and translate operational KPIs into asset performance indicators.
• Define condition‑assessment criteria, asset performance scoring and risk‑based prioritisation.
• Support lifecycle planning, renewal forecasting and long‑term capital investment planning.
• Identify recurring failures, systemic risks and obsolescence issues and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare comprehensive asset performance reports and dashboards for internal management and client reporting.
