Joinery Draftsman

About the role

The Joinery Draftsman will work on‑site in Doha, creating detailed shop drawings for custom joinery projects that include furniture, cabinetry, wall paneling and interior fit‑out elements for luxury residential and commercial spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret design concepts and translate architectural and interior design drawings into precise joinery shop drawings.
• Produce 2D and 3D technical plans using AutoCAD or equivalent CAD tools.
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, production teams and project managers to ensure feasibility and compliance with project specifications.
• Update drawings based on feedback, maintain accurate drawing records and support the production team with clear documentation.
• Assist in resolving technical issues during fabrication and installation, ensuring high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Joinery Draftsman or in a similar drafting role within furniture manufacturing, fit‑out or interior design, preferably in a luxury environment.
• Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness and problem‑solving abilities for complex custom joinery solutions.
• Effective communication skills in English and ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
