Junior Electrical Engineer – Qatar

About the role

Airtswift is partnering with an EPC company in Qatar to recruit a Junior Electrical Engineer. The role focuses on the study, design, specification and detailed design of conventional electrical systems, supporting project delivery on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare basic electrical engineering documents such as cable, earthing, lighting and equipment layouts.
• Size and specify electrical equipment according to project requirements.
• Use discipline‑specific calculation tools (e.g., Dialux) under supervision.
• Adapt existing drawings and create new ones for project‑specific objectives.
• Interpret and apply relevant codes, standards and specifications.
• Review vendor technical and commercial quotations and make recommendations.
• Own document lifecycle: checking, validation, scope and change management.
• Conduct basic interdisciplinary checks and participate in cross‑functional deliverables.

Required profile

• B.E. or equivalent Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited university.
• Typically 2‑3 years of post‑graduate experience in electrical design.
• Ability to work independently with technical guidance.
• Strong time‑management and budget awareness.
