Key Account Manager – Qatar & Bahrain

About the role

The Key Account Manager owns and grows strategic client accounts across Qatar and Bahrain, ensuring service satisfaction, revenue retention, and new business development in line with commercial targets. This senior commercial face of the company leads the relationship with the most important customers and supervises a junior business development team.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned client accounts across Qatar and Bahrain.
• Conduct regular client reviews, performance reporting, and satisfaction assessments.
• Coordinate with Operations teams to ensure SLA adherence and resolve client escalations.
• Drive account retention and revenue growth through upselling, cross‑selling, contract renewals and acquiring new customers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts and adjacent segments.
• Prepare proposals, pricing and commercial agreements in alignment with the Managing Director.
• Supervise and guide junior BD roles, coaching them on commercial discipline, CRM hygiene and client service standards.
• Manage the commercial pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and client needs to inform commercial strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of B2B sales/account management experience, with at least 4 years managing strategic logistics or supply‑chain accounts in the GCC.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and proficient in Arabic.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
• Proven record of revenue retention and growth across key accounts.
• Experience leading or coaching a small commercial team.
• Established relationships with key Qatar/Bahrain shippers, retailers or e‑commerce players.
