About the role

Doha English Speaking School is seeking two experienced Key Stage 1 Class Teachers to join its vibrant, multicultural community. One position starts on 3 January 2027 and the other on 21 March 2027. The role involves delivering the British National Curriculum to a diverse student body while fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess high‑quality KS1 lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
• Lead a year group, coordinating with colleagues to ensure consistent academic standards.
• Maintain accurate pupil records and contribute to reporting and parent communication.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.

Required profile

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Minimum two years post‑qualification teaching experience.
• Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1 within a British curriculum setting.
• Native‑level English with excellent spoken and written communication.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and commitment to inclusive education.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a professional team.
