Kindergarten Teacher - Qatar

About the role

A school in Qatar is looking for a Kindergarten Teacher who will create a stimulating, supportive and engaging learning environment for young children. Through play-based activities, structured lessons and hands-on experiences, the teacher helps students build foundational skills in literacy, numeracy and social-emotional learning.

Key responsibilities

• Foster a safe, welcoming and nurturing classroom environment for young learners
• Implement an engaging, play-based curriculum that encourages creativity and exploration
• Develop early literacy and numeracy skills through interactive lessons
• Support students' social and emotional growth with positive reinforcement strategies
• Work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure a well-rounded learning experience
• Use storytelling, music, art and movement to make learning fun and effective

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or a related field
• Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of kindergarten teaching experience; international experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and play-based learning methods
• Warm, patient and energetic teaching approach
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
