Landscaping Manager

About the role

The Landscaping Manager is responsible for planning, maintaining, and enhancing the outdoor environment of Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North. This position ensures that all gardens, lawns, and green spaces meet luxury hospitality standards while supporting sustainability and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of all outdoor areas, maintaining luxury standards.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for gardens, lawns, trees, shrubs, and flower beds.
• Supervise, train, motivate, and evaluate the landscaping team.
• Plan seasonal planting programs, floral displays, and landscape enhancements.
• Monitor plant health and implement pest and disease control measures.
• Manage irrigation systems for efficient water use.
• Coordinate landscaping projects, renovations, and beautification initiatives with internal departments and external contractors.
• Conduct routine inspections and address improvement opportunities promptly.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resources.
• Procure materials, plants, fertilizers, equipment, and maintain inventory levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 6‑8 years of landscaping or horticulture experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role within a luxury hotel, resort, theme park, or large commercial property.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, turf management, pest control, and landscape maintenance.
• Experience managing large, multiple outdoor facilities.
• Proven budget management and cost‑control abilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work hours based on operational requirements.
