About the role
The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all laundry operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining equipment and safety standards. This role supports multiple departments by delivering clean and professional linens and uniforms.
Key responsibilities
- Complete inventory of uniforms and linens and conduct monthly inventory of laundry supplies.
- Report faulty equipment, maintenance needs, and safety hazards to management.
- Train employees on laundry procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, and inspect linens for damage.
- Assist management with hiring, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching staff.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Required skills
- Operation of laundry machinery (washing, dry cleaning, drying equipment).
- Conducting inventory and reporting equipment issues.
