Laundry Supervisor / Wash Talent Coach

About the role

The Laundry Supervisor / Wash Talent Coach ensures that guest rooms, public areas and pool spaces meet Marriott’s high quality standards after cleaning. You will coordinate daily housekeeping activities, act as a liaison between multiple departments, and support the team through coaching and supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool areas for cleanliness and quality compliance.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning and update departure room statuses.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and communicate room assignment changes and shift handovers.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation and employee coaching.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies; report hazards and incidents.
• Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and uphold brand standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant housekeeping/laundry experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency for entering and retrieving work‑related information.
• Ability to read and verify information in various formats.
