Lead Specialist, National Talent Development

About the role

The Lead Specialist, National Talent Development will support the implementation of multiple national development programmes aligned with Commercial Bank’s strategy to increase Qatari nationalisation across its workforce. The role involves designing, delivering and monitoring in‑house training, coaching and mentoring programmes for both new joiners and leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and implement national development programmes, including induction, leadership and work‑placement initiatives.
• Collaborate with line managers and the Unit Head, National Development to align training with career pathways.
• Monitor performance management for Qatari staff and ensure alignment with development targets.
• Develop and maintain national talent management frameworks, succession planning and periodic talent reviews.
• Design, deliver and track completion of mandatory training and development plans.
• Ensure compliance with policies, risk, audit and regulatory requirements in all HR activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology or equivalent.
• 6–10 years of HR and learning & talent management experience, with at least 6 years in progressively senior managerial roles.
• Proven experience in nationalisation or talent localisation programmes.
• Strong project‑management, presentation and change‑management skills.
