Legal Consultant - LNG

About the role

Axiom is seeking a Legal Consultant to support a Fortune 500 client’s growing LNG business across Asia. The role involves day‑to‑day legal support for LNG contracting, trading activities, and infrastructure projects, working closely with commercial and trading teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support to LNG supply, trading and infrastructure business across Asia.
• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a broad range of LNG and energy‑related commercial agreements.
• Advise on contractual, commercial and risk‑related matters for LNG trading activities.
• Support LNG supply, sale, purchase, transportation and related trading arrangements.
• Guide LNG infrastructure and development projects, reviewing and negotiating project documentation.
• Collaborate with commercial, trading, project and other stakeholders to identify and manage legal and contractual risks.

Required profile

• 10+ years post‑qualification experience in LNG commercial transactions, commodities trading or infrastructure.
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Independent, taking ownership of matters from start to finish.
