Loss Prevention Officer – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer ensures the safety and security of guests, employees, and assets at The Ritz‑Carlton hotel in Doha. The role involves proactive patrolling, monitoring security systems, and responding swiftly to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the hotel and monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress and fire life safety systems.
• Assist guests with room access, respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR and coordinate with EMS.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances, escort unwelcome persons and ensure a safe environment.
• Conduct daily hazard inspections, lock property entrances when required and report incidents.
• Complete incident and shift summary reports while maintaining confidentiality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
• First Aid knowledge.
• Perimeter alarm system operation.
• Duress alarm handling.
• Fire life safety system monitoring.
• Closed‑Circuit Television (CCTV) monitoring.
