Loss Prevention Supervisor

About the role

A Loss Prevention Supervisor is needed at a St. Regis property in Doha West Bay, Qatar. The role covers security patrols, guest assistance, safety inspections, investigations and access control, and involves supporting staff and acting as a role model for the Open Door Policy.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property, secure rooms and assist guests with room access
• Conduct emergency response drills, daily physical hazard and safety inspections, investigations, interviews and key control audits
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, authorise and document access to secured areas, and escort unwelcome persons off the property
• Respond to emergencies and accidents, contacting EMS or administering first aid and CPR as required
• Gather information, complete reports and keep them confidential
• Defuse disturbances, resolve safety hazards and handle interruptions and complaints
• Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and call for assistance using proper codes
• Assist management in training, motivating and coaching staff, and act as first point of contact for the Open Door Policy
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs and thank them sincerely
• Follow company policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, complete safety training and certifications, and maintain a professional appearance

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 2 years of related work experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
• No license or certification required
• Ability to read small print, use computers and POS systems, and move quickly, stand or walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds unaided
