Manager Compliance

About the role

The Manager Compliance will support Qatar Airways Group’s overall compliance and governance programme. You will advise on a wide range of regulations, draft and update policies, and ensure that the Group’s strategies align with applicable laws.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise compliance matters to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
• Identify legal risks, recommend improvements, and develop remedial plans for any gaps.
• Lead the creation and delivery of compliance training, awareness programmes, policies, procedures and guidance.
• Provide advice to management and employees on compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in compliance, regulatory or legal audit roles.
• At least 5 years in a large organisation, government regulator or in‑house corporate function handling compliance and regulatory issues.
• Experience in a multicultural environment and proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Expertise in international compliance areas such as sanctions, export control, due diligence, anti‑bribery, competition, governance and data protection.
• Demonstrated track record of handling complex compliance issues and negotiating solutions.
