Marketing Executive (Arabic Speaking)

About the role

The Iconic Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha, part of Accor, is looking for an Arabic-speaking Marketing Executive to join its team. The hotel offers a lifestyle of luxury services and products, warm hospitality, entertainment programmes and all-inclusive food and beverage concepts across 378 rooms. The role combines social media management, video and photo content creation and advertising copy.

Key responsibilities

• Research the latest trends in videos published via social media.
• Prepare well-structured drafts and briefs for videography and photography sessions, with mood boards that guide all internal stakeholders involved in the shoot.
• Create monthly social media calendars for the hotel and F&B outlets.
• Write and use marketing copy to advertise the hotel and F&B outlets.
• Edit and post-produce videos and photos before publishing them.
• Identify customers' needs and recommend new topics.
• Work in a team with stakeholders from many departments, including F&B outlets, spa and recreation teams.

Required profile

• Proven work experience in marketing.
• Knowledge of graphic design.
• Ability to work creatively with subject matter experts to turn ideas into compelling video scripts.
• Strong conceptual thinker with a solid background in print, packaging, branding, typography and digital design, and art direction of photo shoots (studio and location photography preferred).
• Portfolio of videos and images.

Required skills

• Video editing and production using Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
• Creative suite software such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator for print and digital use.
