Mechanical Junior Supervisor

About the role

The Mechanical Junior Supervisor will lead a team of technicians in performing detailed maintenance, inspection and fault‑diagnosis activities on the Typhoon aircraft and its components. This role combines hands‑on mechanical expertise with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring all work complies with approved technical data and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out and supervise detailed maintenance, inspection and repair tasks on Typhoon aircraft and components.
• Ensure work is performed according to the work package and approved technical information.
• Diagnose and resolve faults, manage configuration changes and raise ad‑hoc work cards for found defects.
• Supervise personnel, verify competence, and approve task authorisations.
• Maintain compliance with MOE and Functionally Mandated Procedures, including tooling and test‑equipment control.
• Provide guidance, mentorship and performance assessments for junior team members.
• Maintain personal and team logbooks, sign off on OJT activities and support Part‑145 licensing processes.

Required profile

• Experienced mechanical technician with a solid understanding of aircraft maintenance data sets.
• Proven ability to supervise and develop a maintenance team in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical skills for fault evaluation and configuration management.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing aircraft maintenance (e.g., Part‑145).
