Multi-Property Account Sales Director

About the role

The Multi-Property Account Sales Director provides total account management support for assigned property accounts and executes the overall account strategy to generate and maximise business for the property. The role partners with Sales and Marketing leadership and the property leadership team to build a strategic plan that grows market share, focusing on transient and group revenue. Depending on the size of the property, it may also supervise Account Sales associates on a day-to-day basis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement account strategies, retain and expand revenue of existing accounts, and penetrate group, transient, extended stay and catering business
• Solicit new accounts and build relationships with customers, industry organisations and brand networks through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips and trade shows
• Analyse market dynamics, identify opportunities and risks, and implement process improvements
• Manage operating budgets and controllable expenses, and achieve account revenue and sales goals
• Execute sales strategies, write proposals and contracts, and maintain accurate customer and account data in Opera Sales and Catering
• Collaborate with third parties, leverage all sales channels and act as the account's local service guarantee
• Provide exceptional customer service, resolve guest issues and recommend the features and services that best meet client needs
• Conduct site inspections for hotels as required and perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, with 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk or a related field
• OR a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or a related major, with no work experience required
