Off-Road Operations Specialist – Motorsport Events

About the role

The Off‑Road Operations Specialist supports planning, preparation and execution of off‑road motorsport events such as rally, cross‑country, desert and baja races, ensuring routes, safety measures and vehicles comply with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning, preparation and set‑up of off‑road race stages, ensuring compliance with FIA/FIM regulations.
• Conduct on‑ground surveys and technical assessments of terrain, identify hazards and confirm route feasibility.
• Carry out technical inspections of vehicles and safety equipment and submit reports.
• Coordinate placement and inspection of safety, marshalling and medical points along stages.
• Monitor race progress in real time, relay updates to race control and support incident response.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Motorsport Engineering, Automotive/Mechanical Engineering, Sports Management or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in off‑road motorsport operations or rally organization.
• Working knowledge of FIA/FIM off‑road regulations and safety standards.
• Valid driving licence with off‑road/4x4 experience and willingness to travel to remote locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GPS and mapping software.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
