Operations Supervisor

About the role

Candidzone is seeking an Operations Supervisor for a project in Qatar. The role involves supervising daily process operations and ensuring the safe and efficient running of process systems and equipment. A valid Qatar ID is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily process operations and ensure the safe and efficient operation of process systems and equipment.
• Read, interpret and work with Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Perform and verify valve line-ups, isolation activities and valve opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor pumps, piping systems, control valves and field instruments.
• Ensure operational activities follow approved procedures and safety standards.
• Coordinate with field operators and other teams to keep operations smooth.
• Follow Permit to Work (PTW) procedures and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Identify operational issues and report abnormalities or unsafe conditions, and support troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Practical experience operating and controlling process systems and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs.
• Familiarity with pumps, piping systems, control valves and field instruments.
• Good understanding of PTW procedures and HSE requirements.
• Strong operational, communication and coordination skills.
• Valid Qatar ID (QID) is mandatory.
