Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to provide day‑to‑day application support for a Qatar‑based client. You will act as the primary finance functional contact, manage ticket queues, lead a small support team and deliver minor enhancements while ensuring service quality and SLA compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1.5/L2/L3 functional support for incidents, service requests, problems and production defects, monitoring queues and prioritising work by severity.
• Own functional support across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expenses and Tax, applying deep knowledge of Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash and Record‑to‑Report processes.
• Lead and mentor a small team of functional and technical consultants, allocate tickets, review progress and remove blockers.
• Engage business users to clarify requirements, prepare functional specifications, coordinate build, testing, release and post‑deployment validation.
• Prepare operational metrics, ageing analysis, risk assessments and regular service reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• 10+ years of Oracle ERP functional consulting experience, preferably in application support or AMS engagements.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Finance in production support and minor enhancements.
• Proven ability to lead a small support team and manage customer‑facing responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of incident, problem, change, release and SLA management practices.
• Excellent analytical, documentation and stakeholder‑management skills with fluent English communication.
