Physical Education Teacher

About the role

A school in Qatar is looking for a PE teacher who will help develop students' physical skills, teamwork and overall well-being. You will design an inclusive and engaging sports curriculum that suits different fitness levels and encourages a lifelong love of physical activity.

Key responsibilities

• Teach a variety of sports and fitness activities, including team sports, gymnastics and personal fitness training
• Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork and sportsmanship
• Plan and lead sports competitions, tournaments and extracurricular activities
• Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to different fitness levels and abilities
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
• Work with colleagues to improve the PE curriculum

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related field
• Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of PE teaching experience; international experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of sports coaching, fitness training and injury prevention
• Passion for motivating students and promoting an active lifestyle
