Primary Teacher – International School

About the role

Nord Anglia International School Al Khor is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join its growing community. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality, bilingual education to children aged 3‑11, following a blend of the English National Curriculum and Qatar’s Ministry of Education requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of primary students.
• Maintain accurate records, assessment data and reporting in line with school standards.
• Contribute to the school’s development plans, policy implementation and extracurricular programmes.
• Use student tracking systems to monitor progress and inform instructional decisions.
• Act as an ambassador for the school, communicating its mission and values to students, parents and colleagues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, with a teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS) and valid teaching licence.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the International Primary Curriculum and the UK National Curriculum.
• Commitment to professional development and to fostering bilingual, international citizenship.
