Primary Teacher (Jan 2027) - Doha

About the role

Qatar International School, a British international school in central Doha, is recruiting a Primary Teacher to join the Primary team for the start of the Spring Term in January 2027. The school is certified as one of the best in the world by British Schools Overseas, and its Primary team is described as happy, supportive and successful.

Required profile

• A good bachelor's degree and a PGCE from a reputable UK university.
• Experience teaching the English National Curriculum.
• Good knowledge and understanding of primary assessment.
• Enthusiasm, creativity and energy, with a genuine love for teaching.
• Team player willing to go the extra mile and support colleagues.
• Willingness to undergo recruitment screening, including an interview, employer references and a criminal background check from all countries of adult residence; applicants must declare all convictions, cautions and bind-overs.

Newly qualified teachers (ECTs) may also be considered, with support through to Qualified Teacher Status.
