About the role
Mekdam Holding is seeking a Process Safety Specialist to support a 3–4 month shutdown assignment at Ras Laffan, Qatar. The role focuses on ensuring safe execution of plant operations, shutdown and turnaround activities in a petrochemical environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety plans for shutdown and turnaround activities.
- Manage contractor safety performance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor, report and improve health and safety management systems on site.
Required profile
- Minimum 8 years of safety experience, with at least 5 years in a petrochemical process environment.
- BSc/Engineering degree plus NEBOSH Diploma in Oil & Gas or equivalent.
- Relevant ISO 45001 auditor training and knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
Required skills
- Process safety and safety planning.
