Procurement Specialist

About the role

As a Procurement Specialist you will manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for assigned product categories, ensuring alignment with the category strategy and the company’s financial and operational goals. You will work closely with internal users to define specifications, run tenders, negotiate with suppliers and monitor performance to deliver best value for QR Group.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute procurement activities in line with the Category Plan and user department timelines.
• Conduct market research, identify potential suppliers and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Prepare and manage full tender cycles, including documentation, evaluation and award.
• Negotiate costs, commercial and contractual terms for medium to high‑value goods and services.
• Track supplier performance, address issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify and propose cost‑saving opportunities and benchmark industry standards.
• Provide regular status updates to internal departments and act as the primary point of contact for procurement queries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, vendor management or purchasing.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with tender processes and category planning.
