Project Director – Facilities Management

About the role

The Project Director is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of specific projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy, commitments, and goals. The role oversees all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery, while managing risks, budgets, resources, and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate large‑scale facilities projects from initiation through delivery.
• Manage project risks, budgets, resource allocation and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Oversee execution, implementation and final hand‑over of project deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role on large‑scale projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• PMP certification or equivalent professional credential.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• PMP certification (or equivalent)
• Proficiency with MS Project
• Experience using Primavera
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
