Project Engineer - Outage Projects

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Project Engineer in Doha for rotating equipment outage projects. The role covers planning, on-site oversight, coordination, quality and safety, client interface and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed outage schedules, resource allocation plans and work breakdown structures.
• Monitor site activities, ensure adherence to timelines and resolve technical bottlenecks.
• Liaise with field service engineers, technicians, HSE officers and contractors to align project goals.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, daily progress reports and compliance records.
• Ensure mechanical and welding works meet QA/QC standards and client requirements.
• Enforce HSE standards, conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe execution of outage activities.
• Act as the primary client contact, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Monitor budgets, track expenditures and ensure cost-effective use of resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 8-10 years of project engineering experience in rotating equipment or outage projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project for scheduling and planning.
• Strong knowledge of QE standards, ASME, API and ISO codes.
