Property Management Officer

About the role

The Property Management Officer manages the company's properties and protects the value of its assets. The role oversees leases, rent collection and building services to ensure efficient operations, stable income and tenant satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full leasing cycle: preparing units, contracting, renewals, move-outs and settlement of security deposits, in line with approved procedures.
• Track rent due dates, collections and arrears with Finance and escalate defaulting cases.
• Carry out regular property inspections, record findings and follow up on maintenance, cleaning standards and security.
• Organize unit handovers and takeovers, documenting condition, contents, meter readings and handover reports.
• Manage tenant relations, handle complaints and follow up requests until closed.
• Monitor service providers' performance and verify completed work before recommending payment.
• Contribute to operating budgets, track expenses and propose cost reductions and improved returns.
• Keep property, lease and guarantee records up to date and prepare reports on occupancy, collections, expenses and maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years' experience managing and operating residential or commercial properties, preferably in the Qatari market.
• Practical knowledge of lease contracts, collection and handover procedures and relevant local regulations.
• Ability to read financial and operational reports and track budgets and KPIs.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; strong organization, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Qatari driving license; a professional property management certification is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in property management systems and Excel
• Knowledge of Odoo is preferred
