Purchasing Executive

About the role

The Purchasing Executive will ensure the smooth flow of goods, materials and services needed for hotel operations. You will act as the main liaison between internal departments and external suppliers, supporting the hotel’s commitment to excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions, orders and related documentation accurately and on time.
• Coordinate daily purchasing activities to maintain uninterrupted supply for hotel operations.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal departments regarding purchasing requests and product availability.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing and delivery schedules, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Review and reconcile purchase orders, invoices and delivery notes, resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor outstanding orders, follow up with suppliers and update procurement systems.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, service and reliability.
• Maintain approved supplier database and preferred vendor list.
• Prepare purchasing reports, supplier performance evaluations and procurement analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• 2–3 years of purchasing or procurement experience in the hospitality sector.
• Professional certifications in supply chain management are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and payment terms.
• Positive “Yes I Can!” attitude and strong customer‑service mindset.
