QA/QC Electrical Engineer - LV Switchgear

About the role

MIRAN SOLUTIONS is recruiting an experienced QA/QC Electrical Engineer for an LV switchgear position with one of its client companies in Qatar. The engineer is responsible for quality inspection, documentation and compliance throughout the LV switchgear manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect the manufacturing of LV switchgear and electrical panels.
• Inspect panel assembly, wiring, components and workmanship.
• Verify materials and components against approved specifications and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IEC standards and project requirements.
• Review GA drawings, SLDs, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with production, design, testing and commissioning teams.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports and test records.
• Support factory inspection, testing and final quality checks, ensuring completed panels meet quality and customer specifications.

Required profile

• 3-7 years of relevant experience in LV switchgear manufacturing and inspection.
• Experience in QA/QC procedures and quality documentation.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of MDB, SMDB, MCC, ATS and DB panels is an advantage; switchgear/panel manufacturing experience is preferred.
