QA/QC Engineer – Large Scale Building Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to lead quality assurance and control activities on large‑scale building projects in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The successful candidate will ensure that all construction works meet the required standards, specifications and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC plans, procedures and inspection & test plans (ITPs) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support and coordinate all inspection and testing activities, including material approvals and method statement compliance.
• Prepare, review and maintain quality documentation such as reports, non‑conformance logs and close‑out records.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 quality management system and local authority requirements.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, QatarEnergy and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (civil, mechanical or related discipline).
• 8–10 years of QA/QC experience on large‑scale building construction projects.
• Previous experience in Qatar or GCC markets.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership, coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
